Your round stays close to home. Game progress is saved on your device. Optional platform gaming services handle sign-in and online scores. Motion controls use sensor readings on your device.
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Code Technology handles information for Fold in One and this website. It describes the current version of the game. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@codetechnology.app or see our support page.
Information used by the game
- Local game data: your chosen player name, progress, scores, current round, daily completions and streaks, unlocked ball styles, and selected ball are stored on your device to resume play and remember rewards.
- Platform gaming profile: if you use Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, the game receives your platform player identifier, display name, and sign-in status. We use these to identify your gaming profile and associate submitted scores with the correct player. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
- Scores: while signed in, earned scores are sent to the relevant platform leaderboard. A pending submission may be stored locally and retried when a connection is available. Leaderboard names and scores may be visible to other players under the platform's settings and rules.
- Hinge and motion readings: supported hinge-angle and optional device-orientation readings control shot angle or curve. These readings are processed on your device; the game does not upload a sensor history to Code Technology.
Website and support
This website has no advertising trackers, marketing analytics, or account registration. Its angle demo runs in your browser and does not save your input. Hosting providers process normal connection information, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and request times, to deliver and protect the site.
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, device model, and screenshots. We use it to answer your request and investigate problems. Please do not send passwords or payment information.
Advertising and purchases
The current version does not include advertising SDKs or in-app purchases. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app targeted advertising. If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required notices or choices before the new processing begins.
Services that handle information
Apple and Google operate their gaming services under their own privacy policies. Their services may process additional account, device, and activity information independently. Learn more from Apple's Game Center privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy.
Hosting and email providers process information needed to deliver the website and support. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect users and services, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy requirements. Service providers may process information outside your country.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until it is removed from your device. Clearing the app's storage on Android, or deleting the app and its local data on iOS, removes the local save. Offloading an app may keep its data, and device backups can retain a copy. Browser versions can be cleared through the browser's site-data settings. Removing local data does not remove scores already submitted to a gaming platform.
Game Center and Google Play Games manage platform-held records under their own retention policies. Use the relevant platform's account and game-data controls for those records. Fold in One does not create a separate Code Technology account.
Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request, resolve follow-up issues, and meet legal obligations. You can request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Code Technology through support. We may need to verify the request. Some records may need to be retained where required by law.
Your choices
You can play without platform gaming features, use touch controls instead of motion controls, and manage platform sign-in and privacy choices through Apple or Google. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, and contact your local privacy authority. Contact support to exercise rights concerning information we hold.
Children and families
The game does not ask players to provide their age, email address, or real name to play. Parents and guardians should manage children's platform gaming accounts and privacy settings using the device and platform family controls. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact support so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Security and changes
We use platform security mechanisms and limit the information used by the game to its features. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy may change as the game evolves; the date above identifies the latest update. We will provide additional notice where required.
